Cofffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If you are a South Indian, especially Tamilian or a Kannadiga you'll know how many meanings does this one small word coffee possesses. The strong aroma when you pass a coffee shop...By coffee shop, I mean not the Cafe Coffee Day but the shops that sell ground coffee powder. Those shops won't be flashy or anything but are the best places for a wonderful coffee powder..Its very very detrimental to pass these shops especially when you want to reduce your caffeine consumption.
Okayy...So here is how a filter coffee makes magic in your(read "my") day. The first ever thing that I want after morning ablutions is a strong coffee with less sugar. As I have been brought up in a more tamil brahminly way,I'l tell you about how its made, served and its importance in our day to day life :P

Strong coffee is where the colour of the coffee is a rich brown variant.. Now who wants to drink milk with a coffee odor? Certainly not me.. And the right way to serve it is in a tumbler with a dabarah(a saucer with lipped walls). You'll see a coffee inviting you when you step into any tamil brahmin's house(read without "brahmin" when you don't want it to appear ;)) for any small things. I have seen people visiting some houses regularly for the excellent coffee they get there. Coffee was and is still famous in the brahmin families of TN. You will see some hotels named "kaapi kadai" in spite of serving a variety of meals. That is because in those days(before independence) brahmins(who were orthodoxier in its true sense) would only go to hotels that served coffee as their main special offering. There are instances in R.K.Narayan's books about how a person goes to a shop just to wash down sweets with a coffee. Okkay.... Off the topic for sometime.. So,back.. Coffee plays a major role in a family.. :) The consumption of coffee increases when they have brunch on a particular day.

And coming to me,I'm a Coffee Pandaaram :P You give me coffee any time of the day, doesn't matter I'll come of with you :P I'm one of those types :P R.K.Narayan's book(might be an already read one) in hand and a tumbler of coffee..Makes my day... :"> Its such a bliss!! You might say,"
Caffeine does this to you, does that you".. All I would turn is a deaf ear!!!

My day is not complete without a minimum of 3 coffees...! :D And for best coffees away from home,go to Kalmane Koffees. They have outlets in Chennai,Bangalore and many other places in leading malls.. The "Kaapi Samrat" you get there is one of the best filter coffees that you'll get to taste.. :) And they also provide coffee powder for home consumption and without any doubt Madras Filter rocks :D :D

Happy Coffeeeyinnggg :D :D
Catch you soon... :D Its Coffee timeeeeee :D

God!

Uh...! A more intriguing topic... Well.. for me,its one hell of a topic.. :D Let me tell about my "beliefs" in the religion and stuff for a start.. :)

Brought up in a neo-orthodox family,I BELIEVE in God.. I'm for idol worshipping and religion and things..

So there is a question, atheist, neutral and theist ,anyone would discuss about..

DOES GOD EXIST?
An atheist might go for a scientific approach to answer such a question.. On my conversation with a neutral(the one who has not come to a conclusion about this),I gathered that such people go for a thesis that says about early mankind... Yes.. The concept of fear of the unknown. Man in the stone age... He tries to untie the knots of the mysterious place he has been put in.. The yellow ball that comes and stays for sometime and the white ball that comes in the absence of yellow ball are the first ones to capture his attention.. Then he thinks about who makes them come and on a pattern.. The solution is not so easy to find out.. there creeps the "fear of the unknown".. Something he can't figure out and so just like he prayed "fire-the creator and destroyer",he started worshiping the unknown "power" who/which was the reason for the evolution of species(so, should i say "cell" is God? :P) and thereby,

MAN CREATED GOD!

As funny as it sounds, that is what is scientific.. An irony, ain't it?

So that is my understanding of what is called, the "scientific" approach..

Now as a theist(if i can say),this is what I think about who is God and why do I worship him.. :)

When I was born, mom introduced to me,my dad, brother, sister, uncle, aunt and everyone.. Likewise, she took me to somewhere called a "temple" and told me,' this is "ummachi"'(told to kids referring God) and to me,he was just another uncle.. And she made me say,"ummachi kaapathu"(save me God) and to me it was like saying,"hi uncle" except that the uncle didn't respond to me verbally but would keep me safe(keep my mother with me always).. Since then,I was accustomed to it and was "made to believe" in God, just like I was made to believe that such and such person is my father..
Growing up,whenever I had any troubles, the only person I could confide in was God..! He never judged me,never questioned me,never accused me.. He had His own ways of reminding me his existence..
Though I understand the "scientific" definition of God and evolution of God,
I choose to believe in the Omnipotent and to me religion is as dear as anything else.. Not that I am an opposer of other religions are something.. Existence of various religions is no bad I would say,(by religion,I do not mean terrorism or any blood-sucking activity) because on Earth all we have is,choice..

Coming to visiting temples and idol worshiping,
its just that temples are more convenient and peaceful to think about something that is more better than dwelling in various problems on earth.. And also,in temples, everyone is with the sole aim of meeting the "uncle" who is there with them since they are born(not mom,not dad and not a single other soul).. It creates a positive vibe that makes everyone feel calmer and better.. :) It is like this principle,"Ask the universe and you shall have it"..
I can't just sit in a place and think about or focus on something right? After all, human brain is a monkey! Hence, the idol.. :)

So yeah! This is what I think of God.. :)
Hope no one finds it offensive nor it was intended to offend anyone...
:)
GOD IS GREAT :D(I finally published my post ;))
