OMG! Ur so short!!

Now in lyf this has becum so bugging..! Whn I dnt give a rat's ass for being short,why do people hav to rub it on my face.?!??!
Thank God... frm young age I hav learnt to take dis as a compliment..!! but usually whn thngs get repeated it gets on ur nerves evn if ur cool about it..!

People look at me n say... "UG?!? Final year?! U look like a kid!!".. I mean do I have to say dat ths has no connection wid my academic lyf!!?!? Thy dnt take into account ur so-calld "height" to put u in a class or a course now do thy!?!?! And is it any fault of mine for being short? Absolutely no! I dnt evn wanna "skip" or "climb and hang myself up on a rod" to get taller..!! Those r done by ppl who jus think external appearances matter the most!!! I hate doing all that stuff man!!Am happy in my own skin!!

Seriously...! I am thinkin to give a better answer to ppl who exclaim lookin at me..!! Meanwhile I wanna make myself clear here..Some of my closer ones make fun of al dis.. am sportive wid all dat..!! This post is jus to warn those dumbcraps who ask me the qn,"OMG! U are so short"...!!

Came across the dialogue in the film,"Horton Hears a Who",which conveys the following message,

A person is a person..No matter how SMALL....

This has touched me a lot though there was'n any reference to the "height" directly..! Its a film about the convergence of two worlds which are too different from one another...!
Anyways,this is it... I dnt care how short I am and I feel that being short in no way makes u less when compared to others who are tall and mighty..! Actions prove and not the Appearences..


So,better think before uttering such non-pleasantry things to people based on their appearances..! Some may be sportive about it whereas some take it to heart..! It really hurts I say..!! You will never understand till you put urself in the shoes of such people..!!

And I should sincerely thank the souls who come to my rescue whne am in such situations!! Means a lot to me..


Am done guyz....!! Jus wantd to share this thing which I had been intending to write way back..!!

Brahmins...!!! What are we?!

When a person introduces himself as "brahmin",people give 'the' kind of look,which makes us feel like "ah..why did I just say that"... Yea...!!maybe,those days "brahmins" followed caste practices and bull like that...!! But then,nothing was done without a cause..!!
Caste system of those days was based on the kind of work people did..!! They are called four-Varnas viz.,

• Brahmins
• Kshatriyas
• Vaishyas
• Shudras

Varna means different shades and textures and is derived from the three gunas, or three primary attributes of nature sattwa (mode of goodness), rajas (mode of passion) and tamas (mode of darkness/ignorance).Brahmins being mostly sattwic in temperament, able to perform purity in mind and habits, acquire divine knowledge and wisdom which they can impart to others. The Vaishyas are the trading and business class and are a mix of rajas and tamas. They deal with wealth and how to maintain its flow, sustenance and prosperity. The Kshatriyas are mostly rajasic, possessing a fighting, passionate spirit used to protect dharma (brahmins knowledge) and the people. They are the rulers, kings, politicians, upholders of the law, military, police. The Shudras are a mix of tamas and rajas, and are the working class people, labourers or the artisans. They are the foundation of society providing what is needed at the ground, base level.

Brahmins are supposed to be clean in mind and body. Cleanliness of mind is atained by chanting of mantras without a gap and thinking about God prevents any irrelevant thought. This is prescribed for Brahmins because they are the ones who are supposed to be propagating the religion and practising it without any fail.They are the ones who are supposed to be indulging in "worship of God" in temple and performing such actions and works to "please" God. As a result of which brahmins of those days were considered as the "upper caste".Those brahmins did practise cleanliness in mind and body to keep the sanctity of the temple. So,they saw certain things which will help them maintain the decorum.Obviously,they can't eat meat and go to temple and touch the idol.Let the idol be a stone image,but the sacredness of the idols is well-known by each and every Hindu.

I don't know if this - the KAL YUG which has resulted in the defamation of the Brahmin clan or is it like a tit-for-tat by the so-called downtrodden people of the society! The reservations made in favor of certain castes against brahmins is really dis-heartening. Just the reason that "those days you people ruled,so you can't get the best of education from IIT's or any other institution for that matter if you can't afford". There are people in brahmins who realyl deserve the best but only because they don't have the means,does'nt make them undeserving.

Well.. Government's reservations might not lead us anywhere.But it does not make us any lower than the others..!! We are and still will be "BRAHMINS".

Grown Ups?!?

what actually was missing,

I could'n sense a defect

It somehow dawns to me
that we all grew up and
took quite lotta space!!!

Grow up Parents!!

Odd things put together!! Grow up parents!! Yea.. I see a lot of parents these days who are over-ambitious!! They want their kid to an all-rounder or smthn like that!!

In the process of making the child so,thy are jus stealing away the best years of their life..!! Isn't that criminal!?? They make the kids do thngs thy dnt evn like..Parents shud find what interests the kid and make thm do it..!Parents do it... But they over-do it.. thats the pblm!!

Take for example dat the kid likes dancing,the parents find it and enroll the child in some dancing class.. Ask how long does the coaching takes place!! Evening from 6 to 8 everyday!! Isn that mean?! Mrng wake them up by 7am and get them ready and stuff thm wid sme kinda food and pack them and send to school... They come back at 5 aftr school gets over at 4!!Thanks to traffic.... Give them a glass of milk and send them to dance class..It wil get late na?!! Thy come back at 9 aftr classes... traffic takes responsibility again and the kid has to do homework now!! One side dinner and one hand does homework..!!

I mean..Do you call it a life for a kid?!??! Of say 10yr old??!?!

Parents shud develop the interest of the kid in smthng and not make thm hate the thng the kid liked once!!



The only thing I request ppl is to just leave the kid live freely in his childhood!!Thy hav enuf at school!!! at the age of 12 or 13,it wil take its own decisions regarding this...
U might ask me.... In dis competitive world if we let our children live like dis,wat wud happen to their future...!! Am telling u,you r not giving any special thng to the child..Infact children do better when givn independence...!!



So,take the oath...Dnt make the children who look good wid those small eyes full of fantasies,beaming wid tears!!!!

Resolutions 2010!!

Yeah!! The most embarrassing  part of New Year is whn someone asks you whats your resolution for this year and you start blinking and realizing,"Hey! I never thought about it!".. I am thanking my lucky stars!! Coz dis year,I dnt hav to blink like that! :) Yes!! I have resolved that I would do or refrain from doing certain things! And the main reason for me to put it down here is,for me to realise and not forget and do all these!!Enough boredom haan?

• From now on, I am not going to bunk classes in my course.
• I shall never underestimate anyone and my own self.
• I shall come to conclusions based on my own thoughts
• I shall take my own decisions and be firm on it
• I shall never let anyone influence me or my future
• I shall keep in mind that everyone is equal and stop thinking that someone is above me and someone is below me.       
• I shall stop wasting more time on the net and concentrate on what my heart says
• I shall stop watching movies a lot an use my time more productively
• I shall not be a burden to anyone in any form.
  

And finally,I resolve that I will strictly follow the aforesaid resolutions!
